Kalahari Boys, 2012 – Gallery Edition of 9 pcs.

Image Description

Kalahari Boys, 2012: These two lions are very likely not brothers, but they have formed a coalition - late afternoon they were strolling thru the Auob Valley, which is a part of the Kalahari Desert. The Auob is a dry river bed and is located in South Africa and Namibia. It only flows approximately every 10 to 20 years after heavy rainfall. The lions in the Kalahari have adapted very well to life in this semi-desert and have different survival strategies than the lions in the animal-rich savannas of East Africa.

This work from Stephan's B&W Limited Art Collection is part of a strictly limited edition of 9 pieces. The picture can be hand-signed by the artist (if the picture is ordered through my lab here in Hamburg) and is delivered with a certificate of authenticity and an individual picture number.

Of course all known standard sizes (starts at 60/40cm up to 120/80cm) are available as well as freely selectable image formats.

We recommend the following reproduction process (material & quality) for this picture: It is called ChromaLuxe or HD Metal Prints and is based on a thermal transfer process. This technology enables a new dimension in high quality photo printing. The pictures captivate with their unprecedented sharpness and extraordinary luminosity. Special inks and the extremely hard and resistant surface of the materials make the photos on aluminum extremely lightfast, incombustible, scratch- and waterproof and resistant to chemicals.
